The Day After Script.

*This is a scripted rp and not a journal entry*

(This happens the night after the fullmoon Nov 2008)

Geoff:*well that's three hunts down, and so far each one has been different.....what's that they say about variety? it's like Old Spice?...or somethin'....anyway, Geoff is pretty happy about the way things turned out...pretty happy, but not dancing around in joy....he's not sure he likes the sudden appearance of a new alpha in his city, right on the night of the full moon, when he's got a problem with rogues....but she hunted very well, so for the moment he's putting off his suspicion as much as possible*

*he's not getting ready for work...hasn't in a few days, actually...but he hasn't mentioned to anyone that he got fired....maybe it's a pride thing? maybe it's an "I don't give a rat's ass" thing.....but in any case, he's up bright and early, in the kitchen, preparing a rather large breakfast for the wolves....the smell of cooking meat (bacon, ham, sausage) wafts enticingly through the house*

Mystery:-she had managed to con one of the alphas into finally buying her a journal with the promise that she'd be a good pup. Yah. She would have pushed for more painting supplies but she didnt want to push her luck more then she already did.-

-Since the night of her punishment she done her best to remain out of sight and out of mind. She was use to Geoff being mad and hating her but the fact the Lousianna got mad at her had stung more then anything. She had been careless she knew this, she just wished everyone had seen logain through her eyes.-

-In her mind he was no more a threat then the other wolves. Oh yes there were other wolves last night werent there? She remembered bits and pieces. Actually more and more each time. More then anything she remembered two new smells. Sure some of the pack werent around a lot.The privilege of being strong enough not to be house bound she figured, but even they had a familiar smell. Her mind was trying to remember trying to force her wolf to let her remember, would that even work? she had no clue.-

-It was the smell of meats albeit to her disdain that drew her from her room. She had consumed some snacks she had in her room when she first awoke but the smell of the cooking flesh made her beast hunger and she at least in her mind was beginning to determine when was the best time to try and ignore or fight then other.... additional side of her and when to cave, and hunger seemed to be the easiest thing to cave on.With her journal clutched tightly in one hand she moved down to the kitchen and over to where the food was cooking- "Morning"

-she mumbled to Geoff without really looking at him. She moved straight for the fridge pulling out a bottle of fruit juice and setting it on the counter as she grabbed for two glasses and started to pour into them both, apparently she had decided you were getting juice this morning, isnt that...sweet.-

Geoff: *he figured the smell of food would draw you out like a fly to honey (though in this case wouldn't it be more like "a wolf to meat"?)....he's rather counting on it, actually....he notes your arrival though he doesn't turn away...he also doesn't verbally reply to you, but he does send a tendril of energy to brush you companionably...he always seems to be in a better mood the day after a hunt...his beast sure seems to be in a good mood at least*

*how funny...as you're preparing two glasses of liquid, he's preparing two plates for food....he loads up on eggs, bacon, sausage, the works, and spoons an almost equal amount of everything for you....it's interesting that even though we gorge ourselves on the hunt, we're still damn hungry the morning after....he carries the plates over to the table and sets them down, sitting himself and nodding expectantly to you to take another chair; no escaping to your room this time!* Mornin, Lil Pup. How'd you sleep? *his tone seems pleasant enough, if a little mild*

Mystery: -The hunger was something that was slowly driving her nuts. She never had a huge appettite before and now it was dreadful thinking about how much she ate. It felt like it was never ending. Like she was always stuffing her face with something. She meant to ask if the hunger ever went away if it was like some kind of growing pains or something but you were always eating to so she just assumed it was something she was going to have to deal with from now on-

-Mystery smiled to herself, while her back was turned at least you couldnt see it. No matter how angry she was how sad she was or how much she thought she hated you, the thread of energy and safe cuddling with a blanket kind of feeling it gave her and her wolf she couldnt deny. Her own beast was almost always as friendly, though sometimes a bit timid.-

-While putting the container of juice back in the fridge she made sure she was not smiling before she turned around and set a glass in front of your plate before carrying the other over to the empty plate, taking a seat- "Morning Geoff. I slept fine thank you..."

-She always slept like a freaking baby the night after the shift. It was a nice feeling although the day after she always felt so lazy.-

Geoff: *you pretty much figured it out for yourself...like the beast, the hunger will always be there....but luckily, your metabolism will likewise also always be there, so no matter how much you ate you'd never gain any weight....he nods to your answer but doesn't acknowledge it beyond that....he kind of figured you did...if you said you hadn't he would have followed up because that meant something was wrong....he chews on a strip of bacon thoughtfully for a few moments before he speaks again* So how much of last night do you remember? *it's been so very long for him, he actually doesn't recall when he started to remember his full moons....so the question is meant honestly with no subterfuge or trickery that you would be able to sense*

Mystery: -Mystery sat down and didnt bother to look over at geoff, was it a lack of respect. Meh. She wasn’t trying to be a little brat, she was actually trying to stay out of trouble for the most part. You’d get the distinct feeling she remembered at least part of her punishment last week. She was well into eating her eggs and eyeing up the meat like she was going to pounce it when she heard your question.- “More then last month.” –she answered ever so passively. There was a pause before expanding her answer.- “we had other wolves with us. I remember the new smells.” –of course she tried to sound as passive as she could about it, you’d let other wolves come, you’d let them hunt and they were here and Logain wasn’t but she tried her best not to even let the thought further brush her mind. She didn’t want it to be apparent.- “How much should I be remembering?” –she already figured she was behind schedule some.-

Geoff: *in spite of himself, Geoff is impressed that you not only recall the newcomers, but that you associate them with smells rather than just your memory of events...smell is the sense most associated with memory...even more for lycans...probably even more for wolves* Impressive, good job. *the praise sounds sincere* You're absolutely right, there were two others....Adrian, from the old pack that was here, and this newcomer Zen. *he's still not entirely sure what to make of her appearance, which you might be able to tell by the way he gives a small frown before continuing*You'll get more and more every month. Sooner than you think, there will be no break in your consciousness and it will all flow together. *he nods* Then you'll have to deal with remembering what it's like to take down a deer and revel in the heat of its blood. *wow, yummy breakfast conversation...but he's not actually trying to gross you out or anything...he's just stating the facts, simply and without much exaggeration*

Mystery: -Mystery really didnt think it was a big deal. i mean, she is use to the same smells the same people the same wolves, except for the 2 trips to the city i mean she really had been surrounded by the familiartiy of everyone. There was a pause and she wasnt sure if she was suppose to smile of be pleased that she recieved praise. Instead she just continued to stare at her food.... eating it as slowly as she could make herself, because at times she had these urges to to shovle thing into her mouth at an alarming rate, and it was annoying- "Are they going to be staying here now as well?" -she asked as causally as she could allow herself to. She wasnt sure either how she felt about that. But she figured, either way it would be nice to know.- "that's nice to know i suppose."-She sounded rather deadpan. Oh my, like she couldnt care less if she remembered killing poor bambi in the morning. Her eyes lifted from the plate a moment and looked at you, without pause she reached over the table and snatched a piece of your bacon. Hers was still on her plate. It was her way of testing her boundaries. You still made her uneasy. Weither she was being playful or pushy would be up to interpretation.-

Geoff: -That remains to be seen, actually. Adrian is still on probation with me....it depends what he does next. *specifically, if the rogues just "happen" to find out where the lupanar is, then he knows Adrian ratted him out, and the man's life is forfeit....on the other hand if he keeps the pack's secret, that's another mark in his favor* As for Zen....well the impression I got was that she's not in the city just to visit....so it seems she'll be joining the pack. *though she took off shortly after the hunt....which he's not exactly thrilled with....he watches you snatch the bacon from his plate, and the only sign he noticed it is the fact that he pauses in his eating, just momentarily...then he continues as if nothing had happened* I've got some more training lined up for you tonight.... *please try to contain your enthusiasm*

Mystery: -She just nodded as you spoke of the two. She didnt remember who was who or anything about them but the fact there was two different smells- "The pack seems to be growing a lot.. Is this normal are most packs big... or.." -she stopped not wanting to sound like an idiot. There was no real reaction to her stealing your bacon. She was trying to get some reaction from you. There was a hint of playfulness. Like someone dipping there foot into a pool of water to test the temperature... She was unsure if she like that tempature of not though. There was a slight frown on the lack of reaction. See see she really wanted to like him but he was making it so hard. When you said there was to be training she tried really really hard not to flinch but she did and it was visible though she tried to blow it off. Herself and her energies coward back slightly. Training was associated with bad, very bad.. She took a sip of juice and then shoved a piece of food in her mouth and stared at the table. She hoped with no manner and a mouth full of food her distress for the fact wouldnt shine through and shed sound casual about it- " Do i get the luxury of knowing what kind of training?"

Geoff: *Geoff doesn't seem bothered by the question at all....he's silent for a few moments and then gives a small shrug* I've seen packs number in the hundreds, and I've also seen packs of two. I'd say this is about typical. It's good to have a lot of wolves around - it ensures there's always someone to babysit the pups. *and though you might not think so, he's not referring just about you specifically, but just weaker wolves in general*

*at your question, his eyes move to you with an almost feral look....his lips peel back from his face in a sharklike grin* This one's a surprise, Lil Pup....but I promise you I won't even be in the room when it happens. *yeah, he knows you don't like dealing with him...and even if he's not exactly happy about that factoid, he still acknowledges it*

Mystery: -her eyes went wide as you said in the hundreds. That would just be too much she thought but there was a nod as you said it was normal this was normal. Your reasoning for wanting a large pack annoyed her greatly and even if you didnt just mean her. She was well defensive and what not and you'd hear the glass slam back down on the table after her sip-

-There was a nervousness when her gaze caught yours and she saw that look... she backed her chair up to stand up and nearly fell on her ass-"It's..... it's been a long few weeks. Can i just skip the training.." -you werent going to be there? but who was. Right now she didnt want any kind of training from anyone here. She really just wanted to sulk. You meanie-

Geoff: *he looks up from his food as you nearly fall over, his expression one of polite surprise....he doesn't move to help you, but he can sense your nervousness.....can taste it in fact....can't you?....he just...looks at you for several long beats* My you're jumpy....do I....make you nervous or something, Lil Pup? *without waiting for your answer he resumes eating, speaking through a mouthful of bacon....hey, if you can be rude, so can he* Sorry, no rain checks on training....if it was optional then no one would do it, and we'd have a nation of out of control wolves running around....no one wants that.

((and then the rp closed there... it was assumed that Geoff went to Get Remi and Lou and went off to kill the 4 rogues plus Logain))
